Phil Baroni Signs with Canadian Promotion XMMA

Phil “New York Bad Ass” Baroni has signed to fight for XMMA 7 on Feb 27th, in Montreal against Canadian rising superstar Guillaume de Lorenzi. The winner of this matchup looks to get to the UFC as XMMA’s 7th installment takes place at the Bell Center as they look to take over the void left by TKO’s departure from the Canadian scene in 2008.
Also confirmed for this card is the addition of Rickson Gracie blackbelt Shane Rice to take on undefeated rising star from BTT Canada Tim Wadsworth. Shane has wins over Mark Hominick in TKO, and has been a staple in the Rickson Gracie program for years. This is a great matchup with two very accomplished fighters.
